We're excited to announce the launch of Play Cafe at Community House, brought to you by Ednovate CIC and City Ease Cafe.

Open Saturdays between 11:30am17:30pm.

City Ease brings together a group of talented cooks from Hong Kong and Taiwan, serving traditional dishes such as braised pork rice, curried fish balls, classic egg crepes, and even a few special treats, like their Hong Kong Style French Toast (it is exactly as good as it looks – yum).
You can check out the menu here, or in Cantonese.

Their passion for cooking has joined forces with the wonderful community interest company Ednovate CIC.

Ednovate focus on empowering young Hong Kong diaspora during a daunting period of change, dedicated to enabling a smoother transition into a new community. By celebrating and sharing their culture, Ednovate strives to help Hong Kongers build strong ties to their new home while not forgetting their roots. They also offer practical advice regarding long-term settlement planning, aiding young people and families on their journey.

Food and play have always been two of the most natural ways people connect, whether across regions, languages, or cultures. By bringing these together, Ednovate CIC and City Ease hope to create a welcoming space where community can grow.

Drop in on a Saturday to say hello; all are welcome.

Play Cafe: play to create, connect, care.
